Grace Wapner

Born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1934, Grace Wapner earned her Bachelor’s degree from Bennington College and her Master’s from Bard College. Her art incorporates materials like clay, fabric, wood, urethane, and bronze. Wapner subtly conveys the forms of nature and the human figure in much of her work.
